Moscow. July 1. INTERFAX.RU – some residents of Rostov-on-don and neighboring cities of Bataysk and Azov were left without electricity due to heavy storms, have informed Agency “Interfax” the press service of the company “Donenergo”.
“As a result of bad weather disconnected high voltage lines in Rostov-on-don, Azov and Bataysk. The number of remaining without electricity people specified”, – said the Agency interlocutor.
He noted that “Donenergo” established headquarters for elimination of consequences of power outages.
Earlier it was reported that the city was struck by the strongest storm in which hundreds of people couldn’t get home, hid in the shops and underground passages. Motorists parked the car near the sidewalk and went into the cafe and shops to wait out the storm.
A strong wind broke the branches of trees, and streams of water on the streets knocked people off their feet. As a result of revelry of elements one person was lost, five more suffered.
