“The Federal tourism Agency has agreed a grant of 187.7 mln rubles for the construction of a conduit to the sanatorium “Mashuk Aqua-Therm” and roads in the new cluster “Minvody Welness Park” in the Caucasian Mineral Waters,” she said.
In her opinion, implementation of projects will allow the Stavropol region to increase the number of tourists in the resort region of Caucasian Mineral Waters and increase the provision of sanatorium-resort services among all regions of the country from 16.2% to 30%.
To promote the resorts of the Stavropol authorities are also planning to hold “Days of the Stavropol region” in Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Samara and Yekaterinburg. “They will be held in October and are designed to develop domestic tourism,” – said Likhachev.

According to the regional Ministry of culture, which oversees the development of the tourism industry, the number of tourists to the region by the end of 2016 may increase by 7.7% – up to 1.4 million people.
In total, the region operates 470 institutions for accommodation of guests, including 138 health centers in 35 thousand seats and 332 of the hotel 13.2. In 2015 with the support of the authorities of the region were opened 70 points for tourists.
Project development of tourist complex “Mashuk Aqua-Therm” is implemented in the framework of creation of tourist cluster of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. The complex is well with mineral water Levanovskogo source is a pine forest, a Botanical garden and spring lake.
Complex “Minvody Wellness Park” will be built near the mountain Snake in Mineralovodsky municipal district. Here in the area of 200 hectares plan to place sanatoriums, hotels and amusement Park.
