MOSCOW, 29 Jun — RIA Novosti. The General Assembly of the parliamentary Assembly of the black sea economic cooperation (PABSEC) in Moscow to discuss recommendations on economic, social and political aspects of the refugee problem in the countries of the black sea, Chairman of the PABSEC and the speaker of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
“Responding to the migration crisis associated with the mass movement of people, primarily from countries in the Middle East and North Africa, the PABSEC has done extensive work on the analysis of the current situation and finding ways to assist the refugees on the territories of the States of the black sea economic cooperation”, — said Naryshkin at the meeting of the General Assembly of the PABSEC.
According to him, all three of the relevant PABSEC meetings in Yerevan, Istanbul and Athens have prepared reports and draft recommendations on economic, social and political aspects of the refugee problem in the countries of the BSEC. “These documents are offered for consideration by the present session,” — said Naryshkin.
Events of the 47th General Assembly of the PABSEC held in Moscow from 28 to 30 June. Russia is taking the session at the presidency.
In the Assembly in Moscow, the participation of ten national delegations of Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia and Turkey, as well as representatives of France as observer countries and nine international organizations. Refused to participate in the session, the delegations of Georgia and Ukraine.
