Crimean authorities have restricted access to forests because of the high risk of fires

SIMFEROPOL, June 23 Resolution of the government of the Republic of Crimea on the limitation of visits to the forests of the Peninsula citizens due to high fire danger has signed on Thursday the head of the Republic Sergey Aksenov.

The document prohibits campfires, use of open fire and other activities. Under the law, the violation of the prohibition, which has caused a forest fire, shall be punished by a fine for citizens in amount of 5 thousand rubles, 50 thousand rubles for officials and 1 million rubles for legal entities. The resolution also prescribes the state Committee for forestry and hunting to patrol forests with the involvement of volunteers and members of people’s militia.

In the Crimea, according to forecasters, the weather was hot without rain. Daytime temperature reaches 35-37 degrees Celsius. According to forecasts, this weather will continue for at least the next week.
