Moscow. September 21. INTERFAX.RU the Nomination of the Minister of sports of Russia Vitaly Mutko as head of Russian football Union violates the fundamental principles of global soccer, said Chairman of the Board of the Association of domestic trainers on football OOTP) Michael herskowitz.

“This nomination in itself creates an obvious conflict of interest and violates the Charter of the FIFA standard electoral code of FIFA, the Code of ethics of FIFA and the RFU, the Charter and the electoral rules of the RFU, creates unequal opportunities to be elected to other candidates,” said Hershkowitz at a press conference at Central office “Interfax”, after reading OOTP appeal to the delegates of the RFU, which will be held on September 24.

He added that as itself part Mutko in the elections for President of the RFU, and participating in voting voting for him, is a violation of the aforementioned documents of FIFA and the RFU.

“We have no right to violate fundamental principles of elections and governance in football, especially on the eve of a home world Cup 2018. Failure to follow the rules jeopardizes the future of Russian football”, – stated in the appeal, which was read Hershkowitz.

The appeal was signed by well-known domestic coaches, among them Kurban Berdyev, Haji Hajiyev, Mikhail Gershkovich, Boris Ignatyev, Andrey Kobelev, Oleg Romantsev, Yuri Semin, Vagiz khidiyatullin, Georgy Yartsev, and others.

September 24 in Moscow will host the regular reporting-election conference RFS which will take place elections of the President of the organization. For the post of head of the RFU, together with Mutko will compete the famous Russian coach Valery Gazzaev, the President of the national Football League Igor Efremov, President of the Russian football Premier League Sergey Pryadkin.
